Our History

The Khalsa Shaouni Sports Club is a non-profit, community-based organisation established in 2023 by Gurdwara Sahib Dal Baba Bidhi Chand Ji Khalsa Shaouni in Plumpton, Melbourne. Our mission is to inspire and support children and young people to actively participate in sports and engage in positive community activities.

Since its inception two years ago, the club has successfully built a strong foundation and is now entering its fourth season with the Melton Basketball Association. As part of its growth, we are proud to announce the introduction of a 16+ KS Lions basketball team for the upcoming Summer 2025–26 season.

Today, the club has over 100 players and their families actively involved, creating a vibrant network of support within the wider community.

The club proudly welcomes children and young people from all communities, faiths and cultural backgrounds to join, play and grow together.
